I recently found the perfect plaid scarf and of course I’m sharing it with you. I’m a little picky when it comes to plaid. There are so many color combinations that it’s never been one of my “must have” elements for a cute fall / winter outfit, until this year that is. The traditional tartans with deep emerald greens have always been my favorite and I didn’t want to stay with tradition. This year I really wanted to find a plaid scarf that didn’t feel too holiday if you get my drift. I wanted a scarf that I could wear anytime through fall and winter that didn’t make me feel as though I was about to attend a Christmas festival with bits of caramel popcorn stuck to my scarf.
What Makes this the Perfect Plaid Scarf?
I’m so glad you asked. One of the top reasons is there is no itch factor. I don’t care who the designer is, the color, or about anything else. If it’s itchy, I don’t want it and I certainly wouldn’t buy it or recommend it to anyone. Another reason I like this scarf so much is that the colors are not the traditional holiday type of colors of greens and reds, but more on the plum side. Length and the edging are also important to me too. I’m short, 5’2 (rounded up) and a really long scarf won’t work for me. I also don’t like a really short scarf either because they don’t work for my curvy body type. After reading what I’ve written I think I may be a scarf snob!
Last, but not least are my booties, which are cute and comfortable.
