Sometimes you find a dress that is just so comfortable you never want to take it off. This is the cutest polka dot chiffon midi dress for spring. I took the first picture on a beautiful sunny day at golden hour. When the other pictures were taken, it was after days of rain, it was chilly, and the sun was hiding, but I wore that dress all day long like it was Easter.
My polka dot dress is from Torrid and it is under $58! If you have been with me for a bit, you know I’m not a huge over spender. However, I do splurge slightly on great shoes, purses, and accessories. We all have bills, families, kids, you get it, so the price of this polka dot dress is fantastic. Paired with sandals and a cute bag cute bag, you really have a great wardrobe piece to wear for a casual daytime wedding, brunch with your girl tribe or just because.
What I like most about this dress
The thing that drew me to this dress was that it has a stretch empire waist, which is very figure flattering. Once it arrived, I was really happy with how light and breezy the material is and that it has a light liner as well. You will still want to wear skin-toned undergarments so that they don’t show through. The flutter sleeves are a huge selling point as well since they are not snug fitting on your upper arms. The length is great for short or tall ladies and there is also a small ruffle seam at the bottom. Lastly, you could easily escalate the look by wearing a pair of heels, shawl, and a dressier bag and maybe even an updo hairstyle.
I’m wearing a size 1 (14-16) and I am 5’2 and I feel like this definitely fit true to size.
