Bras for Curvy Girls
Finding bras for curvy girls is no easy feat. There’s the top spillage, side spillage, back rolls, and overall fit that has left me wearing ill-fitting bras for years. I’ve wondered if bra makers just tried them on one person and then gave a green light for full production for the masses. Frustrating is an understatement. I’d like to take a moment and give a huge shout out to all of the gorgeous curvy ladies out there in the same boat.
After hanging on for dear life, the last of my “nice” bras was on it’s last leg. I needed to find new bras and I was determined to not get the ones that have so much heavy material they looked like a test-crash dummy could survive the impact of crash at 55 mph. Finding cute bras over a size 34C seems to be such an unnecessary challenge.

Torrid was right there all along and I had never stepped foot inside. My reluctance came from my own misconception that it was for the twenty-somethings and younger. It was like opening the doors to a goldmine when I walked in. Right away I saw some super cute sandals (they are now sold out but posted on my Instagram), tops, shorts, dresses and then…I was the bras hanging on the wall calling me from the front of the store.
The fit was fantastic! They had bras for curvy girls with no spillage, no side boob, beautiful and soft. Yes! I can’t say enough great things about them and they had such a huge range of sizes was incredible. Torrid offers so many beautiful colors and styles, but below were the ones I went home with and I’m already making a list of the ones I will be ordering next.
Let me know if this was helpful and if you’ve ever bought bras from Torrid.
